Wish Farms
Join us for an exciting, insider look at the Wish Farms Headquarters in Plant City, FL! This exclusive experience takes you through their impressive 125,000-square-foot facility, where you’ll see blueberry packing in action and step inside the high-tech cooling and processing areas that keep their famous strawberries fresh.
You’ll also tour their vibrant, creativity-driven office space — complete with a treehouse, slide, and other imaginative touches that reflect the company’s innovative spirit. Along the way, you’ll discover how sustainability shapes their entire operation, from the use of reclaimed wood throughout the building to the power generated by their 1.2-gigawatt rooftop solar array.
The tour traditionally includes a visit to their on-site u-pick blueberry farm. Because freezes may affect this season’s crop, the availability of u-pick berries is still uncertain. You’ll still have the chance to explore the farm, and if conditions allow, guests will be welcome to pick berries straight from the field.
Sweetwater Community Farm
Discover the heart of Sweetwater’s urban 6-acre farm on a guided tour that brings their mission to life — building community through education, food accessibility, and serving as a model of responsible land stewardship and sustainable agriculture.
As you stroll through their lush, hand-tilled beds, you’ll see how careful, chemical-free cultivation supports both healthy crops and a thriving ecosystem.
Sweetwater’s composting system and worm farm will show you how food scraps and plant matter are transformed into nutrient-rich soil, closing the loop, and giving back to the earth. Along the way, you’ll learn about sustainable techniques like crop rotation, water conservation, and natural pest management — practical skills that can be applied in any garden.
They will share how programs like their Sunday Farmers Market, community volunteer days, hands-on workshops, youth programs, and seasonal events make healthy, local living accessible, inspiring, and joyful for everyone. They are strengthening the bonds between farmers and families, between education and action, and between the land and the people who care for it. Whether you’re here to deepen your knowledge, connect with nature, or simply enjoy the beauty of the farm, this tour offers an inspiring glimpse into how Sweetwater Community Farm cares for the soil, the food, and each other.
Meacham Urban Farm
Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of Meacham Urban Farm, an inspiring two-acre production farm right in the heart of downtown Tampa! This immersive experience gives you a close look at how a small but mighty urban farm operates day to day, from planting and harvesting to caring for animals and supporting the local community.
You’ll enjoy a guided walk through the organic fields, with a visit to the chicken coop. Along the way, you’ll learn about the farm’s sustainable growing methods, hands-on management techniques, and the customers they serve.
It’s a chance to see urban agriculture in action and discover how thoughtful farming can thrive in the middle of a city.
