This Farm to School Month, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) Division of Food, Nutrition and Wellness (FNW) invites students to submit an original essay responding to one of three topics, reflecting on the contributions of Florida farmers and the benefits of eating locally grown foods.
The contest is open to all Florida high school students (grades 9-12) from October 1 to November 15, 2024.
